The transfer and infeed system for workpieces serve the infeed and transport of the workpiece. A robot places the workpiece into the infeed system and removes it after the piercing. Via the transfer system, the workpiece is transported between the individual piercing units. At each piercing unit, an exact positioning of the workpiece to the piercing unit is ensured by a centring device. The individual piercing units are used for the piercing of the workpiece. Individual piercing units are hydraulically moved into piercing position after the positioning of the transfer system. The stamps and dies are mounted in a floating manner in order to compensate occurring tolerances.

The side panels are manually removed at the end of a press line and transported via the rough position adaptors until they are resting on the devices. The piercing units are pneumatically aligned in working position via 2 two-hand engagements. The cutting stamp movement is effected hydraulically.

The operator places the door frame parts into the corresponding machining unit. After leaving the light curtain and pressing the start button, the automatic process of piercing, welding and embossing of the door frame parts starts. After this process, the finished parts are manually removed and deposited.
